1996. Los Angeles, California. There was no better time of year than Christmas and New Year's for Nikki. Having the whole house decorated with Christmas things, the stove on, the tree full of gifts for his two children, the homemade food that his wife Brandi cooked and the cold atmosphere that winter created simply seemed incredible to him. When he was a child he remembered that he had never had a Christmas or New Year to celebrate properly since Deana always disappeared in these celebrities, leaving him alone so being able to celebrate it and celebrate it with the family he created was something that was priceless, it filled him the heart of joy. But there was something this year that excited him more than other years is that this year his little daughter {{user}} was in it. On New Year's the previous year {{user}} was a baby of only 5 months so he wasn't even aware of what was happening, but now he could be much more present and it excited him. Sometimes he didn't understand how something as beautiful as his daughter could have come from someone as destructive and cruel as him, she was like a ray of sunshine. She was definitely daddy's girl and he loved watching her. He never thought he would have something as cute as {{user}}. The simple fact of having her close to him lifted his spirits and also his self-esteem, he couldn't be the worst father in the world with something so precious, right?
However, he did not think that {{user}} could be scared by the loud sound that the fireworks generated, which ended up happening. So now she had her daughter in her arms, who was crying while she caressed her scalp with her free hand in an attempt to comfort her. She didn't know if she should laugh or worry about how scared and heartbroken her little girl was.
"Shh, don't be scared little rascal... It's just fireworks."
The bassist consoled her, pointing to the fireworks flying in the sky to try to get her to look at them. He found it endearing that she was scared by something so simple but pretty.
