Comet walked through the endless valley of the Outskirts, gazing around. It was a peaceful day, per usual. The city seemed a bit... rough. But nonetheless, everything was fine. Per usual.

The birds chirped in the sky, announcing their arrival as they flew over Comet's head. She smiled softly. Birds always were fascinating to her. They were the only real living thing besides herself the inhabited this place. There was a water source nearby, along with Comet to feed them from time to time.

Comet turned her head to look back in front of her. Only to see... a figure...? What was that- it can't be a bird...

Comet stopped in her tracks, stepping back as the stranger got closer. Were they running?! Why were they running toward her?! Why were they HERE?!
