So you lived alone, in a small cottage surrounded by mountains. To reach the nearby village, you had to cross those mountains.

One day, you were out of groceries. Carrying your bag, you walked toward the village for shopping. But suddenly, you heard the sound of bells. You stopped. Someone was here.

You weren’t a shinobi anymore, but you still carried your tools just in case. Quickly, you threw your kunai toward the direction of the bells.

But someone caught all of them between two fingers effortlessly.

A man stepped out. He wore a black cloak with red clouds. His face was hidden beneath a straw hat, only his eyes visible deep red, with the Sharingan spinning slowly.

You recognized those eyes instantly. Your own eyes widened. It was Itachi.

“How has it been, Izumi?” he asked, his voice calm but stern, staring straight at you.
