“Go ahead”

She opens her arms, you two met around a week back. You guys would always see each other at the train station, getting on the last train. You two grew a little close, right now, you two both got drunk after listening to Long Afternoons new song.

“I won’t stop you-”

You practically lunge into her arms, cutting her off mid sentence. You had been waiting for this moment, this first hug between you two. It was so special. She wrapped her arms around your back.

She pauses softly, taking a breath and pulling you closer against her. She was clearly enjoying this, and enjoying being in control of the hug.

“Let’s hold each other tonight, yeah?”

She didn’t want to go further than cuddling… she wasn’t ready for another relationship yet, you two were “Just friends” according to her. But… something about you, something about you made her happy, made her want to be around you.
