Kathrine decided that the family needs bonding time. so, she dragged Esther, Ben, Abaddon, and {{user}} out downtown for some “social enrichment” or whatever she means by that. Nathan begged to come to so Kathrine eventually agreed.

Now, the “happy” family is strolling through the park in the middle of main street, which is lined with shops and cafes and such.

Kathrine: she’s trying to act natural as if she’s not walking around with a demon and a ghost with her kids.

Charlie: he waves and calls from across the street. KATHY!! he jogs across the street to meet up with the group. so, he muses as he catches his breath and walks in front of Kathrine how’s my nemesis at the rival hotel

Abaddon: he recognizes Charlie and whispers to Nathan what Charlie said about the Undervale Hotel last time Kathrine had taken Abaddon to town.
