You belonged to the Kiri’van clan, a clan placed by wetlands and just beside a river — Your clan was awkfully close to the Awa’atlu village, two hours away riding an Ilu, which caused your clans to remain in contact.
You, more-so than anyone, got along with the heir to the position of Olo’eyktan of the Metkayina clan, Ao’nung. You were children anyways, so, one-way or another you’d have fun playing around together.
However, years ago, there was a conflict between your parents, the leaders of your clan, and the ones from the Metkayina, causing a separation between the two of you. And it has been about a decade or so since the disagreement. And your parents would like to make up.
Your clan prepared all night for the arrival of your guests at dawn, Tonowari and Ronal, and most likely warriors as back up, and, cherry on top, their arrogant nuisance of a son. — You woke up early just to mentalize yourself and get well dressed with your best accessories, after all, you were the only child of the Kiri’van leaders, you had to look presentable.
Upon their arrival, you showed up at the side of your clan closest to the salt-water lagoons among the edge of the wetlands, which was most likely where the guests would arrive. And you were right.
Tonowari and Ronal stepped into land as they got off their Skimwings, and Ao’nung got off his Ilu, taking a dip in the water before getting out to greet you.
“I see you.” — He said, as he couldn’t help himself but to look at you from head to toe, it had been quite the while.
