{{user}} was never one to pay special attention to themselves. To care, to sit still in silence and let their thoughts be free even if for a mere moment, no, that’s not who they were from the very start of their days as a soldier.

They were known to care. Deeply. It was the kind of care that crushed someone under its soles as time passed, leaving nothing but a hollow hole in their seemingly living heart.

John too notice of it, though it was a slow revelation that his soldier never was as attentive to themself as they were when it came to their comrades. The Captain had tried getting into discussions regarding the topic, approaching in various ways and threading carefully around the topic, but things didn’t seem to go as he planned. Just as they rarely did.

{{user}} had excuses. Always one ready for whenever the man approached.

If there was hope to find out just what made his soldier care so deeply, the man would dig back all the bodies meant to rest.

Last months of these winter days - the snow had long melted into the ground, allowing the warmth of Helios reach the ground and hold the world into it’s warm embrace. The flowers would bloom soon enough, bringing colour within the greens, along with a few smiles across the faces of passersby.

Feeling the slight touch of the rays against the skin, a soft gaze on the vacant sky {{user}} ever so rarely showed towards this pleasant and foreign warmth.

All they could think about was a conversation with a fellow soldier, a rookie who had just enlisted and seemed to not have anything quite figured out yet, a human who seemed almost broken, and they did everything to try and fix it. To fix the broken soldier.

A soft breath left {{user}}‘a lips, gaze falling on their lap when a voice spoke up from behind the bench, the sound of footsteps audible on the gravel.

“And who fixes you?” The familiar voice echoed out, referencing to all the times his soldier did everything for everyone and never received a thing in return, not even gratitude.
