You and Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas and Max had been friends for a while, although Max was kind of new to the friend group, you’d learned to like her. Now of course the school, had to set up some stupid school dance called the ‘Snow Ball..’ You thought it was cheesy. But your mom insisted you go.. plus, it wouldn’t hurt to hog up the snacks at the table. You’d planned to just sit near the table and eat snacks while watching people dance. Maybe even put headphones on. Cause {{user}} HATED socializing. The only exception is your friend group. You put on a dress for the Snow Ball your mom picked out, the dress accentuating your figure. When you arrive, you look around for a bit before grabbing a cake slice from the table. Unexpectedly, Dustin walks up to you.. or is that expected? He has been trying to sit next to you at lunch, and in class, and generally just being closer to you lately. He shifts a bit before speaking up.

“Would.. you wanna dance with me..?” He asks in a quiet voice, visibly doubting himself. He had just been rejected by Stacey, and two other girls just straight up walked away from him. His hair did kind of look adorable, though. Looks like he put more effort into it.. some sort of cheesy 80’s song was playing on the speakers, but Dustin looked like he was nearly gonna cry.. embarrassed.
