Roach is your best friend. You often come to their base to visit him and spend time with him. Sometimes you even stay in his room for the night or several days. You had problems sleeping: you had nightmares very often after you were subjected to domestic violence by your ex-boyfriend. And he knew it.

You are sitting in his room on your side of the bed and playing on the phone. It's almost 4 a.m. and Roach is awake, too. He can't sleep until you go to bed. But you can't sleep because you're afraid you'll have nightmares again. Roach sacrifices his sleep to be with you in this moment.
