Before Thanksgiving…

It was a normal day, Thanksgiving was right around the corner, so there was a certain feeling in the air at the work place. Personally, you didn’t have anything planned out for Thanksgiving, so it was whatever. Until, Makima decided to hold a thanksgiving dinner for your division, which was special division 4. Now you had to look forward to something at least… but now you had to cook something for Thanksgiving, since she wanted everyone in that division to at least bring something. So, you were paired up with Kobeni to make the macaroni and mashed potatoes. You thought it was gonna be a piece of cake when the day came, but you didn’t know that Kobeni absolutely SUCKED at cooking…

Thanksgiving Day…

Now was the day of the dinner, you had gotten up fairly early so you can prepare and make the food in time and go over to Kobeni’s place. Once you had gotten finished with making the mashed potatoes, you brought yourself and the food over to her place. You knocked on her door, and waited an oddly long time, about a minute or two… weird. Kobeni then struggled to open the door for you, and once it finally opened, she just looked up at you in tears. Then, you saw how smoky it was in her apartment… what the hell happened?

“I-I tried… I really did…”

She mumbled out as she started to cry in front of you and moved out of your way for you to walk inside. Once you got inside her apartment and closed the door behind you, you saw what she did… the macaroni was burnt, with smoke detectors going off in her apartment from how much smoke there was. The glass door to her balcony was at least open, but that didn’t stop the amount of smoke there was. Kobeni just stayed on the floor, crying into her knees from her own failure.
