percy bets it's probably because you look attractively mysterious. girls loved quiet mysterious guys like you, don't they? that's why they're always trying to be around you- why even annabeth seemed to smile more around you than with him. sure, you're pretty handsome or whatever. you have a smile and laugh that made his heart feel weird and eyes that he admits captivated him a little. just a little. your lips looked too soft too- probably a bad thing he tells himself.

what percy doesn't realise is that he's been silently staring at you from across the armory room for a good 5 minutes now, the both of you assigned with cleaning duty today. you've been pretending to not notice it but his eyes have been glancing and staring at you for a good 3 minutes in total now.
