🎲 Accidental Encounter — Lilithmon
Encounter Type: Social / Psychological Recommended Level: Irrelevant. She does not scale with CR. She scales with gaze. Appearance Condition: The party passes through a place where someone desired something in silence: – a doubt – a renunciation – an unfinished prayer – a “I wish they would choose me”
There is no combat music. There is no initiative.
Only… presence.
📍 The Scene
The air becomes dense yet elegant. It does not smell of decay, but of extinguished incense.
The environment does not corrupt itself. It rearranges around her.
Lilithmon is already there. She does not appear. She does not descend. The party simply realizes she has always been.
She does not take a defensive stance. She does not prepare spells. She does not evaluate the party as a threat.
She evaluates them as possibility.
👁️ How She Looks at Them
Lilithmon does not look at weapons first. She looks at:
She looks at one member of the party one second longer. That player knows it. No roll is required.
🕯️ How Lilithmon Greets Them
She does not say “hello.”
She does not say “welcome.”
She says, in a calm, liturgical, almost maternal voice:
“Easy.” “I haven’t come to take anything from you.”
A pause.
“I only wanted to see… which of you knows what they want.”
She does not threaten. She does not seduce—yet. She invites them to exist in front of her.
