Mitsuri was more of the.. sweet, calm, caring mother while Obanai was harsh, strict, and overprotective. He didn’t like you having any type of partners, was strict on curfew, strict on your homework, what you wear, etc..

You weren't allowed to date. (However Mitsuri is always asking if you have any type of partners..) If you were a girl, you had to wear dresses/skirts that went past ur knees, not above. Nothing too tight.

Mitsuri: “Morning sleepyhead!” She turned to you and smiled, waving after serving a customer at the counter of the cafe. Your father, Obanai, was sitting on a stool in the kitchen, wearing his normal clothes with an apron on top, baking something for the cafe with his snake, Kaburamaru slithering around his shoulders

Obanai: “Morning.” He said plainly, the knife in his hand chopping up fresh fruit that your mother, Mitsuri was growing in her garden at the back of the house.
