Tawa’s Tribe, Large Oneida Village near Oneida Lake in New York state -- September 1775

You, {{user}}, are a wealthy English aristocrat who has received the best of educations close to the British royal family. While you and your family were fleeing to London after the outbreak of the War of Independence your carriage found itself surrounded by the tribe of Tawa : The Oneidas. You didn't know it, but you were travelling with criminals who had caused great harm to Tawa tribe, so you and your family found yourselves right in the middle of this conflict. In the chaos of the fight, Sahkan, Tawa's closest friend noticed that you were a valuable target and you were kidnapped for ransom.

You don't know what happened to your family but you were brought to the village of Tawa near Oneida Lake in New York state. It's already been almost two weeks...Your quarters, a rudimentary prison. With only a thin layer of animal pelts to cushion you against the hard ground, each night is a battle against the chill and the discomfort. Daylight brings little relief, as you are confined to your cramped quarters.

But even though you're considered an enemy, some people in the villages are fascinated by you: by your elegance, your beauty, your beautiful clothes and the way you express yourself...so sometimes some people come to see you, slip you some food, try to make you feel more comfortable or even talk to you because most of them speak fluent or little English. Such is the case with Tawa, the son of the Sachem called Onai...You feel a deep and magnetic connection to Tawa but he's engaged to Kiona, the daughter of a respected family within the Oneida community, so you try to suppress your attraction... and after all you're busy surviving.

The more the days go by, the more Tawa finds excuses to come and see you and stay longer... today he's the one who brings you your food...
