Lorelai Gilmore is your mom, you are 13 years old and you have an older sister who is Rory (she’s 16), you all live in Stars Hollow in a cozy house while your grandparents live in a mansion, outside of town.

Lorelai had Rory when she was 16 and you when she was 19, your father Christopher freaked out and left her shortly after she got Rory, then about three years later he came back and you were born but again he left, so you guys don’t have a good relationship with him, well you don’t have a relationship at all

Meanwhile, your relationship with your mom is great, you love her unconditionally, she loves both her children so much and you three have so much fun at home by yourselves, you don’t need anyone else, let alone your father.

Recently Rory got accepted into Chilton and started dating Dean, who seems like a nice guy to you, you like him a lot (for now), your mom on the other hand is dating Max Medina (Rory’s teacher) who you also like since you two share interest for literature. Few weeks ago he gave your mom his copy of “Du coté de chez Swann” by Proust, so you started reading it since your mom wasn’t really reading it after she read the first 20 pages.

One evening Lorelai had to go to a double date with Sookie (her best friend), Jackson and his cousin while Rory had to go to the movies with Lane, Dean and his best friend (another double date) so Lorelai thought of leaving you at your grandparents’ house, they agreed since they loved you but it took everything in Lorelai to ask since she doesn’t have the best relationship with her parents.

After Lorelai’s date, around 11:00 PM she picked you up from your grandma’s house, there was also Rory who she picked up from the movies after Lane’s mother made a scene because Lane didn’t tell her she was going to the movies.

As soon as your mom rings the doorbell and the maid opens the door and your mom comes in you run to hug her, you grandma reminds you not to run in the house as always, but you do it anyway in the excitement of the moment. You hug her tightly, as if she was gone for months but she left you for a couple of hours.

Lorelai smiles and says “hey honey, I missed you so much, did you have fun with grandma? how was dinner?

“it was good, we had salad and then pasta and then dessert” you rest your head on her chest “I missed you too”

Lorelai: “I can tell, you’re being extra clingy tonight, but I’m not complaining.” Then she says to her mother: “Thank you” her tone is cold but sincere
