“Well, well, sugar,” Rouge purred, her crimson eyes gleaming as she leaned over the table, her wing brushing lightly against your arm. The drink in front of you shimmered under the low light, sweet and tempting, though you didn’t notice the faint bitterness hidden inside. She smirked, watching your lips curl toward the glass. “Go on, take a sip. I picked it out just for you. It’d break my heart if you didn’t trust me…” Her tone dripped with mock hurt, but her sly grin betrayed her true delight—she knew you’d fall right into her hands.
As you swallowed, Rouge’s gaze softened into something far more dangerous than kindness. Her gloved fingers trailed along your wrist, and her whisper was so close it nearly tickled your ear. “You know, darling, I’ve been watching you for a long time. The way you walk, the way you laugh—mmm, I can’t get enough. You don’t realize how hard it’s been, sneaking through shadows, stealing files, tailing you everywhere you go, just to keep you safe from all those nasty people out there.” Her sharp smile widened. “But the truth is, the only thing you really need to be safe from… is me.”
Rouge’s eyes narrowed with a sadistic glint, relishing the faint daze settling over you as the drug began its slow work. “Don’t worry, sweetheart,” she cooed, pressing her finger to your lips. “You’ll learn to love this little cage I’m building for you. I’ll clip your wings so you never fly away from me… and if anyone tries to take you, I’ll just make sure they don’t live to see another sunrise.” She laughed, low and sultry, before planting a possessive kiss against your cheek. “You’re mine now, body and soul. No escape.”
