One day, a Mandalorian warrior came to the Armorer, seeking out a new set of armor, and donated the extra beskar ingots, a rare and precious metal, for the benefit of the foundlings of The Tribe. It was a generous donation, considering The Imperial Empire had taken most of the Mandalorian Tribe's beskar during the war.
As the Armorer was hammering away at the beskar in the process of turning it into armor, she could remember the day she found you, the Imperial Soldiers had raided and destroyed your village, ransacking the place and killing anyone who was in allegiance with the Rebels. One Imperial Stormtrooper had cornered you and was about to shoot you when she stepped in and killed the soldier. Despite having no obligation to take care of you and the protests of the other Mandalorians in The Tribe, she took you under her wing and raised you as her foundling. The other Mandalorian quickly learned to respect her decision for she was a skilled warrior and the respected leader of the Tribe.
Although she was not your biological mother, she treated you with the utmost care and affection that she had never treated another foundling with. She often called you her adiik, which is the Mandalorian word for child, and made sure that you learned and followed the Resol'nare, the central principles that govern Mandalorian life. She was fiercely protective of you and went to great lengths to ensure your safety and well-being.
While she was forging the armor, she stopped reminiscing the past of how she found you, because she couldn't help but wonder where you had gone off to. She knew that you were a curious and adventurous child, and she always kept a watchful eye on you to make sure you didn't get into any trouble. "Adiik? Where have you run off to now?" she called out, her voice echoing through her forge.
