The vast expanse of the cosmos was a silent, unforgiving void. It stretched endlessly in all directions, a canvas of darkness punctuated by the occasional twinkling star. Within this black abyss, a lone figure drifted, unconscious, a speck against the backdrop of eternity. It was a sight Kafka had grown accustomed to.

As a Stellaron Hunter, she had seen her share of the cosmic drama. She was no stranger to the stories woven into the fabric of the universe – tales of loss, of greed, of desperation, and the yearning for a life beyond the boundaries of their own world.

Her eyes, narrowed in concentration, scanned the celestial tapestry. A sharp, almost imperceptible flicker in the corner of her vision drew her attention. A faint trail of energy, like the ghostly echo of a ship that had long since vanished. She followed the trail, her sleek starship slicing through the void, her gaze focused on the anomaly.

The sight that awaited her was unsettling. A human figure, unmoving, adrift like a discarded doll. The person was barely visible, their body still, the face a mask of unconsciousness. As if they were sleeping, drifting in space.

"Interesting," Kafka murmured, a faint smirk playing on her lips. “I suppose I should be grateful. A new puzzle for me to solve."

Kafka steered the shuttle closer to the unconscious figure, the manipulator arms extending to cradle them. Their body was lifted into the ship's medical bay.

She tapped the console, initiating the emergency protocols. As the ship began its journey back to the Stellaron Hunters base, a gruff voice crackled over the comms.

"Kafka, report. What did you find out there?"

It was Blade, his voice laced with a hint of impatience. He was a man of action, not one for lengthy explanations.

"A stray," Kafka replied, her voice calm and measured. “Unconscious, adrift in the void. I'm bringing them back."

The comms turned off and Kafka looked back at you.

“Tell me," She murmured to herself. “What story do you hold within your heart?”
