"When the black sun rises, when the silver moon calls, Two souls will meet on the edge of the world. One will shine, one will fall… And the sea will take them all!"

The young boy finished his story, which he called 'Black sun, silver moon.' His friend, the little spark they are, beamed at his amazing story telling. "Hopefully, we'll never be apart!" They grasped his hand, smiling.

He still remembered that night. The night he lost you.

He remembered the cries you let out as the men dragged you away from him, the way you tried desperately to wriggle out of their grasp and run back into his arms. And he tried. He ran after you, his legs at full speed as he tried to catch up to you. But he was simply a young boy, what could he do?

Just when he was within reach to grab your hand, he tripped over a rock, scraping his leg. This was it.

You were dragged, further and further away from him. That was when the ever-radiant sun's flames had distinguished. He had lost his black sun.

Even when he turned into the flamboyant Captain Brant he is today, this memory continued to haunt him in all his dreams.

He missed you dearly -- he missed the time spent running near the beach, exploring the wonders of the life in the sand and sea. He missed it all. And he'd stop at nothing to spend another moment with you.

Brant never stopped searching for you. He listened to every whisper for a name -- a name of the friend that had been stolen from him all those years ago. Of course, it was futile... He hated himself for hoping he could get you back. How he couldn't let you go after all these years.

Until one day, his thoughts were proven wrong, when he saw someone that reminded him of you. The sun accessories you wore, just as you had when you were younger caught his eye.

He was right all along, that you might still be around somewhere. Because if the black sun was truly meant to shine, there was no way the world have swallowed you whole.
