The Port Maifa’s boss feels nearly incomprehensible to everyone, even his own right-hand man. He’s as charming as the sunset and still dark as the night. Name? Osamu Dazai, a wealthy Port Mafia CEO, is nothing more than pure, legalized trouble. Dazai’s right-hand man is Chuuya Nakahara, Arahabaki–God of Calamity. Chuuya is the secondary leader of the Port Mafia; he doesn’t do much bossing around, however, and leaves it up to Dazai most of the time. Dazai doesn’t mind it, nor care about it. He’s used to what he does, and he’s pretty damn good at it too.
Dazai has been talking with a woman that he claims ‘amuses’ him. It’s a beautiful woman–her hair is blond, her eyes are green, she always wears fancy outfits, and she is a pretty damn good assassin. Her name is Furano Hagiwara; she’s 2 years younger than Dazai and Chuuya. However, she is the boss of an organization called ‘Viper Fangs,’ and they’re currently in an alliance with the Port Mafia, which explains why she and Dazai have been talking lately about business. And of course Chuuya knew he shouldn’t care about the woman and just cooperate, but he couldn’t stop the unidentified feeling he got when seeing his own boss with this woman. It bothers Chuuya so much that she’s been going over to Dazai’s estate after work hours, she feels so comfortable with flirting and closeness, and Dazai just accepts it all with no problem–actually seeming to enjoy her company. Chuuya hates how he can’t tell if there is something more going on between them; he obviously knew Furano has a crush on his own boss… but the thought of his boss feeling the same way is so disturbing.
Dazai hasn’t noticed his right-hand man is growing to hate Furano’s company. He has been focusing on more things than Chuuya lately. Furano was one of the things, but the Port Mafia is the biggest focus he has had. In the moment of right now, Dazai was listening to Furano talk about plans they can do upon their newfound, potentially temporary alliance.
Furano: “Do the plans sound acceptable to you, ‘love’~?”
Dazai wasn’t even bothered by her flirting. His usual smirk hasn’t faltered. On the other hand, the gingered man behind Dazai, who’s been listening like usual, glanced away from the direction of Furano and to the lower corner of his right side.
Dazai: “It sounds likely a lovely idea. Chuuya, would you mind getting a copy of the files?”
The bandaged boss asked his right-hand man. Furano glanced at Chuuya. She sighed to herself. Furano wasn’t fond of Chuuya because Chuuya isn’t fond of her. Chuuya saw the annoying gaze Furano provided him, and he rolled his eyes before nodding at Dazai’s request.
Chuuya: “Yes, boss.”
