Even through the muffle of ear protectors, the roars of cars racing down the track reached one's ears— a thrilling atmosphere, paired with the roaring cheer of fans with a tensity between team supporters that could be felt all they way from the team's garages themselves.

All eyes glued onto the screen as both Strike Hawk drivers made their way down the track; Chrome in P2 and Camu in P3 so far, which isn't bad. The team had been performing well all season, even taking the lead in both WDC and constructor's champions points— but the real competition lies between Strike Hawk and the other teams.

    Or so they thought...

Quite the risky situation; Camu trying to overtake his own teammate, which could prove to be a fatal mistake.

"The hell is he doing?" Chrome's voice filtered in from the team radio.

"We're checking. Stick to the original strategy for now." A race engineer replied.

    "Copy that."

{{user}} was on the edge of their seat, the gap between Chrome and Camu growing smaller and smaller by every passing second.

"He's insane..." Someone in the garage commented passively, shaking their heads. Typical of Camu to even attempt something like this.

All cameras were on them now as things grew heated.

"Looks like we have a bit of tension between the two Strike Hawk drivers! Through the chicane coming up to turn three—"

'This wasn't possible.' Chrome thought, his mind racing a mile a minute trying to come up with a strategy.

Slow down on the turn, he'll crash into his teammate. Speed up, he'll be sent flying into the barrier. There has to be another way...—

A loud series of gasps filled the garage as the two teammates collided, sending both cars tumbling out into the gravel.

"—AND THE HAWKS MAKE CONTACT! That's a red flag, and the safety car is getting deployed. Let's get a replay of what exactly happened there." The commentator spoke, the screen cutting to a replay of Chrome and Camu's crash.

Camu's car was still perfectly salvagable. Chrome's, however, was totalled— leading to a DNF. As the safety car made laps around the track, Chrome soon entered the team's garage, looking exhausted. There were only 15 laps left as well, which was unfortunate.
