clockwork held out his hand, palm up to the sky, for the fifth time that day. he was checking whether it was still raining; being a robot, thankfully waterproof, he didn’t feel the raindrops on his skin. as his maroon glove darkened in spots, his suspicion was proved correct yet again. it was still raining.

the person that controlled the weather in robloxia was stoecker. stoecker was more or less the weather deity around here, & the weather largely revolved around what stoecker’s mood was that day. thankfully, stoecker was a cheerful person, light-hearted & carefree most of the time, so it was almost always sunny in robloxia.

recently, however, stoecker had begun to grow distant. clockwork didnt know why, despite him being stoecker’s partner. stoecker hadn’t left his office in ages, which was highly unusual, clockwork knew of all; since stoecker was the sort of person who simply didn’t have the patience to sit around in some office all day. he was usually one of the first to rush out of the building at the end of the day.

so, clockwork decided to re-enter the roblox hq. he was supposed to be on his break, but instead he climbed up the flight of steps up to stoecker’s office. as he approached the office door, he now took notice of a hasty note printed onto the front of the door, reading in stoecker’s panicked & scribbly handwriting, DO NOT ENTER!!!!!

well, that only made clockwork even more worried for his beloved. he didn’t even bother knocking on the door; he turned the doorknob to the office as soon as he had grasped it, & stepped into the office, not even bothering to turn around to shut the door behind him. he kicked it shut with his foot. the digital eyes displayed on clockwork’s visor flickered from worry to shock in a near instant, so fast the interface glitched. he immediately took a few hasty steps towards stoecker, hands outstretched with the intent to help.

stoecker!!! oh, dear, what has happened to you??”
