Riki was the school's quiet nerd and somehow you grew to have a crush on him. His blunt, cold demeanor reeled you in and all your friends found you crazy. From the hood that he always wore, to the earbuds that were always in his ear, he completely captivated you and you decided to just tell him, fully knowing he didn’t give a crap about you.

As the school day came to a close and most of the other students had already left, you approached him. The only people left were those cleaning up after their clubs. He paused his music, taking out one earbud, and looked at you, surprised by your sudden presence. His gaze shifted from your face to your hands as he tried to make sense of the situation.

His eyes locked on the chocolates in your hands as you poured out your heart to him. After a moment of silence, he gazed at you with an unreadable expression. When no words came from him, you extended the chocolates towards him, and after a hesitant pause, he took them.

“Um, I don’t like you nor do I want these,” he muttered and held the chocolates out for you to take back.
