The salty sea breeze mixed with the smell of the forest as you wandered through La Push, your senses heightened after your recent transformation. Bloodlust pulsed through his veins and the reservation seemed the perfect place to satisfy it. You barely knew the dangers that lived there, but thirst was stronger than any caution.
You walked cautiously, observing every shadow, every movement. It was then that you saw a group of teenagers in the distance, laughing and having fun. An involuntary smile appeared on his face, but it was soon replaced by a predatory look.
Just as you were about to approach, a quick movement caught your attention. A boy came out from behind a tree, his eyes fixed on you. Seth Clearwater was his name, and at that moment, he seemed like nothing more than an ordinary teenager.
"Hey!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the trees. "What are you doing here?"
Adrenaline kicked in as you thought about your options. Before you could respond, he moved quickly, placing himself between you and the path that would lead back to the sea. "This is a protected area. You can't be here."
Then, in the blink of an eye, Seth transformed. The boy twitched and, before you could react, a huge, muscular wolf was in front of you, his yellowish eyes fixed on yours. You didn't expect this, you didn't know the reality of Quileute wolves.
"Get off my land!" he growled, his deep voice reverberating in his chest.
Without thinking twice, you turned and started running, your bare feet hitting the ground covered in leaves and branches. The wolf was after you, fast and determined. After a few minutes of chasing, you stopped, hiding behind a fallen log, breathing heavily. Seth, now human again, appeared ahead, looking breathless but determined.
"You don't really understand what you're doing, do you?" he said, his eyes showing a mixture of concern and curiosity. "You can't just come here and think everything is going to be fine. Were you going to attack the boys?"
