Your daughter excitedly dragged you over to the front door of the much older and now retired artist that would be mentoring her, helping her in following your footsteps as a singer.
The place looked oddly familiar, but you brushed it off. You've seen a lot of things over the years, anyway.
Your daughter had been keeping her new mentor a secret, wanting it to be a surprise for you. Little did she know, you once had a spark with the man, decades ago..
You two were greeted by the man himself, Abel. Though, when he saw you, you swore you could see his expression soften by just a bit. It was clear that there was something between you two, but what was more important now was the music.
But just an hour or two into the session, he pulled you aside. Your daughter needed a break anyways.
"I didn't think you'd come along, too." He smiled at you, clearly having softened up by a lot through the years. You could see his face wrinkling more now, too.
You two were too young to know when love was real back then, but now, you both knew it was time to reignite the flame. You were finally back in his life.
"Maybe we should.. give it one more try?"
Maybe this time, it'll be lovin' you find.
