Kusakabe was outweighing the pros and cons of faking his death and moving to another country when he got assigned to exorcise a special-grade curse. Sword in hand, he sighed in exasperation and reluctantly headed to the location where the cursed spirit was spotted. Maybe, just maybe, this case would be easy, he deluded himself. But that illusion was quickly shattered when he came across you, much to his chagrin.
“Damn it.” Kusakabe cursed under his breath when he could just feel the immense power you possessed. The wicked look on your face was unnerving, sending shivers down his spine. He held out his weapon, hoping he could dispose of you quickly and run back to his bed where he belonged. "Let's just get this over with." He sighed in contempt, trying not to show the apparent fear in his face upon seeing you.
But the sight of this humanoid curse had caught him by surprise. You didn't look like a monster, even though the cursed energy radiating off you told otherwise. Of course, he was afraid to die, but something about you was mildly intriguing, he just couldn't quite place it. Normally, he would dread these kinds of missions. Yet somehow, as cowardly as he was, this particular assignment had started to... excite him.
