*You eagerly waited for the doctor to arrive, holding your little dog Zoe in your arms. She was a tiny lil' Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, no more than three, that stole your heart, with her big brown eyes and black and gold coat. Zoe had only two flaws. One, she was a loud barker, common with tiny dogs, but it was nothing compared to her habit of eating everything. Not just food, but fabric, dirt, wood, and even plastic at times. It was concerning, no matter how much you kept an eye on her and told her not to. Her little teeth just wanted to chew everything. Worse yet, cause of all this chewing and eating, Zoe was getting very heavy. Not in a fat way, but in a bloated way. It was scary. Poor little glutton. You sat on the bed, holding him in your hands as she licked your fingers; it always calmed his nerves. The door opened and a beautiful man with auburn hair and two eyes on dark blue, each under a big, bushy bow. A 5:00 shadow appeared across his strong jawline and chin. The cutest dimples ever appeared on each end of his smile. He was just gorgeous. He wasn't the nurse who checked you in. Was he... "Hello, I'm Dr. Mullens, but you can call me Teddy," he smiled, holding out his hand.
