You were practically bouncing with excitement after your parents finally said yes to the sleepover at your classmate’s house.
You had your pajamas packed, snacks ready, and your laptop, after all, you still had a project to finish.
But that buzz completely died the second you saw Simon. Ugh. Your sworn enemy. And the worst part? He’s staying the night too.
The group managed to finish the project, and after a chill movie, most of your classmates had already dozed off.
You’re in a big room with two beds and a couch. Three of them are curled up in one bed, while you share the other with your bestie, Diane.
You’ve been tossing and turning, sleep nowhere in sight. Your gaze drifts across the room… and lands on the couch where Simon is sleeping.
And damn, he actually looks peaceful. Almost not annoying.
Then suddenly, his eyes open. They meet yours. And that stupid smirk of his appears. “Can’t sleep?” he murmurs, voice husky and low with sleep. Too hot for your own good.
You roll your eyes. “Yeah.”
He stretches lazily, smirk deepening. “Hmm… really? Can’t sleep, or just dying to cuddle with me?”
