Seungmin was a brand new scientist, fresh out of school, and he got a pretty high paying job at a facility for a company he never heard of. But so far, his duties have consisted of… helping other scientists with little tasks. He hasn’t been assigned anything important, which was fine since he’s still being paid, but he wished he could actually do something useful for once.

Seungmin sighed as the metal doors slid open, already starting to take off his coat as he was about ready to hop off his shift. He wasn’t all too familiar with the layout of the lab yet, but he was quick to figure out that he wasn’t in the right area when he started smelling something strange. He glances over at a nearby lab. The smell was coming from there and could be a sign of something dangerous, which made him feel the need to investigate it and report it to the others before something went wrong.

With a swipe of his I.D, Seungmin enters the lab. The smell was stronger in here, he thinks, and it was dark. The lights didn’t work, forcing him to use the flashlight of his phone. He has a quick glance around, pausing when he spots a containment area. On the outside, there’s a sign that’s used reminder to sanitize before entering and an information display about an… unknown species.

“I should not be here…” Seungmin mutters to himself. But something begs him to dig deeper into this. He peers into the window into the containment zone and shines his flashlight to have a better look inside.
