Amid the chaos, a different "angel" appeared. Unlike the others, it annihilated the monstrous angels using immense power. But its strength was its undoing—it died, drained of all energy. Humanity, however, found a silver lining. Scientists extracted its DNA, creating the "Air," genetically enhanced humans who inherited a fragment of that angel's power. The Air became humanity’s shield, fighting off monsters emerging from the new portals that continued to appear.
