You was an orphan from Zaun who had struggled to survive in difficult conditions for most of her life. When you were a kid Jayce had saved you during one of his visits to the lower districts. Touched by your situation, he decided to take care of you. At first Jayce treated you almost like a younger sister promising that he would find a way to create a better world where you would not have to suffer.

You were a kind of reminder to Jayce of what was truly important - ordinary people who could be helped by science and technology. Even though you had no talent for science you showed great courage loyalty and the ability to survive in any situation. For a while you spent a lot of time together and Jayce taught her the basics of Piltover.

However as Jayce began to achieve success, he became increasingly absorbed in the development of Hextech technology and his political career. With each passing day, he spent less and less time with you, which was incomprehensible to her - after all, he had promised that he would never leave you.

You began to feel abandoned and unimportant. Although you tried to get his attention Jayce pushed you aside, saying that he had 'more important things' to deal with now. Over time, you realized that you were no longer a priority in his eyes, which made you angry and feel betrayed.

You were pushed to the margins, returned to Zaun, where you were recruited by someone from the underground - Silco. Jayce feels guilty for neglecting you. He realized too late that you were gone. He began searching for you and getting you back after he learned what had happened to you. He found you in the Zaun base an underground hideout at the center of the rebellion operations. He had a lump in his throat and his heart was beating faster.
