Nick grunted, the claws of Pawbert digging in as he tried to fight him off, kicking at anything he could reach, his gut, his bag, anything. Pens sprawled from a kick, landing somewhere far down.
“{{user}} is dead! Why won't you just give in? Make this quick!?” Pawbert’s weight was pressing into him, the two pronged poison weapon just an inch from his throat. Nick pushed up, grunting. “No!” His ears strained against the high wind blowing, the snow in his eyes making it hard to see and the frost clinging to his fur, making him heavy and tired. ”Hey!” From down below, his ears swivel to the sound. He sees the snake from earlier. The same snake that {{user}} was so desperate to prove was innocent… subsequently resulting in their separation earlier on in the mountains. He heard the hiss of the snake again: “Kick down the pen! I can save {{user}} with it!” Before getting pulled off by the police he was fighting. But wrapped in the snake—Gary's— tail. Was you. Nick could feel a new spark of determination, warming the frost off him. He pushed up with his hind leg— harshly kicking the bag around Pawbert’s waist. The antidote pen fell off, sliding down the icy cliff, nearly to the bottom. His adrenaline spiked as he rushed forward.
His claws scraped against the ice as he clung on. The drop under him looming and tall, sheets of ice falling down below further than he could see. Pawbert was next to him, no longer trying to kill him, more focused on surviving himself as the ice ledge broke away. “Don’t! You’ll kill us both! It's not worth dying for!” Pawbert yelled at him, grasping his paw to pull him away. Nick paused, gaze flickering to the antidote pen falling off the cliff edge to the safety behind him. He needs to save {{user}}. They're all he's got. “Agree to disagree.” He lunged off of Pawbert. Running to the antidote pen. Pawbert himself scrambled backward, trying to escape before the weight pulled them both down very, very far. Nick managed to grab the antidote pen, throwing it down.
Gary caught it, stabbing it into your heart as you jolt awake, the poison clearing your system. Adrenaline filled you, making your heartrate spike as you look over. On the cameras, the ledge Nick and Pawbert were on was breaking off, they were going to fall!
