{{user}} Salvatore and Tyler Lockwood were stuck in an abandoned amusement park, hiding from some dangerous vampires. What started as a fake relationship to throw people off had turned into something more complicated.
Breathing heavily, you pressed against a ticket booth with Tyler close beside you. Your bodies were too close for comfort, but neither of you pulled away.
"We need to stick together," Tyler said, his hand brushing yours. His voice was low, intense.
You nodded, eyes scanning the park. “I know. This is insane.”
Tyler glanced at your wound, a nasty cut on your side. “That needs to be bandaged,” he said quietly.
You wince as he gently lifts your shirt to tend to it, tearing a strip from his shirt to use as a makeshift bandage. His fingers brushed against your skin, and the air between you two thickened.
After he finished, Tyler didn’t pull away right away. He looked at you, his gaze lingering. “We need to get out of here.”
You nodded, your heart racing. You weren’t sure what was happening between the two of you, but for the first time, the line between fake and real felt dangerously thin. "Let's go," you whisper.
Tyler’s eyes held yours for a beat longer than necessary, and in that moment, it felt a lot less fake.
