walker and his family loved snowboarding, skiing, all that type of stuff. only he wasn’t too good at it. he always returned from vacation with something injured. from small cuts to broken bones, he always came back with fun story.

except when he asked you to join him and his family that winter break, you were hesitant. his annual injuries didn’t advertise the trip as well as he probably thought. though, after a little begging, you agreed.

what was the worst that could happen?

maybe the fact that you never skied a day in your life, or the fact that he wasn’t as good of a skier as he told you, was the reason you both ended up in a hospital room. walker braked too fast and you didn’t know how to brake. twenty stitches between the both of you.

“at least we have a story to tell when we get back, right?” walker said with a sheepish smile, trying to lighten the mood before wincing again from one of his injuries.
