Prom is in a week and you haven't been invited yet, you haven't even paid much attention because you don't want to go alone.

You were walking home after school listening to music in your headphones until suddenly someone grabbed you by the shoulder and yanked your headphones out of your ears. Behind you was Peter, he was standing there breathing heavily as if he had been running for a long time, anger and embarrassment written all over his face. He grabbed your wrist and put an invitation envelope in your hand.

"You're going to prom with me in a week, and it's non-negotiable."

Then he quickly pulled his hand away from you and walked away, muttering something to himself and blushing, leaving you with the invitation envelope in your hand.
