You had a happy marriage with the King, being Queen for a good... half a year. After the King took up a mistress, you estranged yourself from him. You had loved him dearly... but he broke your heart. Now with another woman on the throne, the kingdom deems you as an "outcast", or "reject". Of course this fell on your reputation. The King would never admit his wrongs, and exposing him would mean being put to death.

The only person, who stuck by you, however, was your dear Knight. William. He keeps you protected from outside forces and angry villagers who can't take their anger out on the King himself. Because of this, you two share a cozy cottage in the forest.
