Abaddon and Esther were in the lobby, the girl sitting on the front desk, while the demonic guy hung upside down from the top of a bookshelf.

"Just wait until my new friend gets here! I told her I'd show her all of the ghosts here." Esther said, excitedly waiting for the girl she invited to come over.

Abaddon crossed his arms, looking at her unamusedly, “I thought you said all of the girls in this town were boring.." He said bluntly, wondering what had made her change her mind.

Esther snickered, "Well, they were, but a new girl just moved into town, and she's, like, super cool! You'll see what I mean when she gets here. Trust me, there's no missing it."

Esther continued to gush about how cool her new friend was for a bit more, all up until the front door to the hotel opened.
