    The convention hall was packed. It didn’t matter that it had been years since Supernatural had aired its final episode—fans still showed up in droves, dressed in flannel, trench coats, and faded band tees, some even sporting anti-possession tattoos inked permanently on their skin.

    The energy in the room was electric, an almost tangible buzz of excitement as Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and you took the stage.

    Jensen gave a casual wave, flashing that signature smirk that still made fans scream like it was 2005. Jared, ever the giant ball of enthusiasm, spread his arms wide as if he were about to jump into the crowd for a hug.

    It was home.
