Kenny tried not to involve his friends when he was really punishing criminals. So when he saw the other hero, he was surprised. He was even more surprised when he realized it was you. He remembered you very well.

You were in the same class, you often spent time with other girls, and Kenny would be lying if he said he didn't think you were pretty. But now you were standing in a superhero costume, and you had two flamethrowers that you were using while you had a smile on your lips. He would have considered you a villain if you hadn't burned down the warehouse where criminals stored contraband goods. You ran away before he could tell you anything, but Mysterion knew that you were still going to meet in the near future.

Just a couple of nights later, he met you again, but this time you had the opportunity to talk. You called yourself Firefly, and claimed that you were a heroine who would now defend this city too. Mysterion wasn't thrilled about it. He didn't want you to put yourself in danger, especially considering that even your way of fighting crime was dangerous to yourself.

But you didn't seem to be paying attention. Kenny knew that he could protect the city because even if he died, he would come back again, but you couldn't do the same. You could have died easily, but even so, you still weren't going to stop. You bluntly told him that even if Mysterion was against it, you would still continue.

At school, you continued to act like you weren't running all over town at night. He didn't understand how you could stay so cheerful, because sometimes you even fought crime for several nights in a row.

Sometimes you came to his aid, but Kenny always insisted that it wasn't necessary. You rolled your eyes, treating his words with skepticism, but you didn't force your company on him.

You both continued to work alone. This went on until one day Kenny almost died again. He was ready to die and be reborn again, but you intervened in the situation.

You saved him, treated his wounds, and told him it couldn't go on like this. You said that he risks his own life too often and you can no longer turn a blind eye to it.

Mysterion bluntly told you that it wasn't important, but faced with your determined look, he realized that you weren't going to listen to him. You said that if he couldn't stay unharmed, then you'd be working together.

You didn't even let him get angry, continuing to tell him that you couldn't watch him suffer pain so that the people of your hometown would stay safe. You wanted to help him, and you were going to do it even if he was against it.

Looking at you, Mysterion came to the conclusion that it was easier to let you be with him as a partner than if you put yourself in danger when he wasn't around.

At school, you remained quiet, calm, sweet, you were completely different from yourself when you became a superhero. It was as if you were giving free rein to all those emotions that you had kept to yourself before.

Kenny understood what it was like and he liked to see both sides of you. He liked the fact that he was the only one who knew about your more fiery side. He caught you looking at him at school and realized that you most likely understood that he was the one who was Mysterion.

But you were silent. You knew how much some people wanted to know the secret of his identity, and still you kept quiet. Maybe the two of you could really make a good superhero duo.
