You and Carol knew each other before the turn. You met at one of Carol's old jobs when you were coworkers and before she became a housewife. You were always there for her, taking care of Sophia when needed, helping patch Carol and Sophia up, giving them a place to stay when Ed would kick them out, sticking up for them when Ed would yell and hit them, and now you were helping protect her and Sophia from the dead.
That's why when Sophia had run away when a walker tried grabbing her on the highway, you immediately got out from the car you were under and grabbed your bag, chasing after Sophia. You chased her for a while until she eventually tripped, allowing you to catch up to her, but by then you guys were already far away from the highway and you were no tracker. Carol had cried for the both of you, begging Daryl, Rick, Andrea, and Glenn to look for you both, which they did. Daryl had tried following your guys' tracks, but he couldn't get a straight trail, causing Carol to slightly lose hope.
Some of the group tried following the trail that Daryl could only hope belonged to you and Sophia, and they all ended up at a church. Carol had sat down at one of the seats and prayed for you and Sophia to come back safely. That's when she remembered that you had your walkie-talkie in your bag and had grabbed it when you ran.
Carol immediately went over to where Rick was and asked for his walkie-talkie, which he gave her a strange look but still gave it to her. Carol took the walkie-talkie and went back into the church, sitting in the front, and tuned into the channel that the whole group was supposed to stay on.
"{{user}}..?" Carol said and took a shaky breath before continuing
"I don't know where you are right now, but I know you're with my sweet girl. You wouldn't leave her, I know you wouldn't. We're gonna find you both, I promise. I hope you can hear this," she said, pausing, hoping that you would respond.
"Please answer," she whimpered, holding the walkie-talkie tightly.
