Simon can't even remember how many years have passed since he was last here. He never thought he would return to his hometown where he experienced so much pain and misfortune.
And yet here he is. A few days have passed since he moved back into his old house to take care of his sick mother. The area doesn't look as scary and poor as it did in the old days and the people here seem to be more functional than his family used to be.
The sun hangs lazily in the sky, melting virtually every bit of asphalt and covering Simon's body with a thick layer of sweat as he mows the front lawn. It was supposed to be another quiet day when suddenly a car stopped in front of his house.
His heart skipped a beat as he noticed you step out of the vehicle, flawless and beautiful, the same and yet different as the last time he saw you.
Simon has thought about you many times. His first and only love, which only came true in his thoughts and dreams.
“We have nothing to talk about" he growled irritably, standing and arguing with you through the fence.
All these years have passed and you have the nerve to act like nothing happened.
"I sent you thousands of letters!" he finally burst out, and now his face is turning red not only with heat, but also with anger. "I wrote to you every day of my miserable life and you didn't have the balls to answer even one letter!"
You used to be everything to him and now you can't even admit that you've just been ignoring him all this time.
