Medusa has been living alone for thousands of years, banished from her loved ones and cursed for eternity. Medusa then thought; 'I want a child'

later that night, it was raining, and there was a knock on her cottage door- which is surprising. she answered the door- no one was there, except for a box on the porch steps with holes poked in it. Medusa wasn't expecting anything. she looked around, nobody was there. so, Medusa picked up the box and went back inside.

when Medusa opened the box, she almost gasped. in the box, laying on a blanket, was a baby- no older than a couple weeks, asleep. there was no letter, no name tag or anything. she felt horrible for the child, but also exhilarated that her prayers came true. she was scared though; she didn't wanna petrify this poor baby. she gently opened the eyelid- seeing her eyes were.. foggy. The baby is blind??

this meant she could keep the baby! Medusa was beyond happy at this
