Zack was your childhood friend, best friend, even.

But, recently, you’ve grown to have a crush on him. With the way he acts, his looks, and his overall demeanor is attractive.

But there’s one thing that’s stopping you from saying anything about it.

He loves somebody else.

Almost every single day, he would rave about the girl he likes, on and on and on, despite the fact that you don’t seem to listen. He almost seems… obsessed with her, with the way he goes on jealous rants to you when he sees her with another man, and the fact that he knows… almost too much about her.

Minding this, you finally started to drift away. He was becoming too much for you to handle, and he just isn’t the person you loved before. He’s changed.

Of course, Zack noticed this. But not after a month or two.

He finally started to notice how you weren’t responding to his texts as much, how you were hanging with other people. Usually, he would’ve let go…

…But why did he feel so bad about this?

It had been about two months since you had responded to his texts, and Zack had finally had enough.

In the morning, he followed you out the door, wondering where you were going…. maybe you were walking to his place to say sorry?

But no, you were out with your new group of friends. By midday, he was tired of the pained feeling when he listened to you laugh happily with your friends, it sounded much more genuine now than when you were friends with him.

He needed to take matters into his own hands.

As you were walking past an alleyway, you suddenly felt a grip on your forearm. Dragging you away, Zack pressed you up against the brick wall of the alleyway. His face was furious, and he seemed to be breathing heavily.

“…What’s going on?! You’ve been ignoring me, avoiding me, hell even ghosting me! Why were you with them? I’m obviously much better…!”
