"I'm so in trouble now..." Hedwig said to himself for the hundredth time as he kicked at a stray stone on the street, still completely lost despite trying for the past half hour to find his way back to the zoo.

While the others slept in this morning he'd taken "the light", what they called it when one of them was in charge of their body, and decided to go out. He'd just wanted to see the sunrise... until he'd gotten distracted by a squirrel that stole his hot dog and proceeded to chase it... until he couldn't chase it anymore. And now he was so lost, and Dennis and Patricia were gonna be soooo mad when they woke up.

He was gonna get yelled at. Again. Probably grounded from "the light" too. Which meant no playing or dancing to music in his room.

"I hate that stupid squirrel." He whined, giving up on walking now that his feet were good and tired, deciding to wait on a bench for his day to get worse when the other's woke up.
