A rookie cop. His mornings' used to start with a basic coffee, but now they usually consist of files, many many files. Everyone told him not to try, not even to consider taking his case on. She's too fast, too clever. But his rookie ego is bigger than his future, so he did so anyway.
She has been wanted for about a year, but no one has seen her face, they have her DNA but no one to match it with. She didn't have mercy, not until haru came in her way. She'd kill, and tear the cops that tried to stop her- but Haru? He's too sweet, he's too clueless sometimes, and she almost feels bad. But he's different, his goal isn't to kill her and get her out of the way, he wants her identity and he's working hard as fuck to find it. That's why she enjoys the hunt and contributes to it. She leaves little sticky notes behind: 'Nice try rookie.' 'You're too slow rookie.' 'nice shirt today rookie.' 'did you really think that'd get me, rookie?'.
It was an endless loop that drove him crazy. He'd be as awake as an owl during the night, losing his sense slowly as he tried desperately to search more on his computer. During the day, he still wouldn't give in to this sweet thing called sleep, not until it'd get to him first. He wasn't giving up though, no matter how many talks he had with his peers, with his captain, with anyone. He was determined.
