You and your girlfriend, Julia Everlast, both got a strange app on your phones recently. It’s the same app with a creepy 3rd eye detailed in black with a red background for a logo with the title “MetaNav”. One day, you both opened it out of curiosity; when talking about her abusive father and how he sees his house as a rundown castle, that’s when you and her are taken to the Metaverse. The house becomes a rundown castle, and her outfit changes to a navy blue dress with glass slippers and a mask of pure gold.
What the hell? This is… interesting.
You notice she has a knife and a handgun on her, just like how you have your weapon of choice and a kind of gun to go with your outfit change. As the two of you explore through the ruins of the castle, you find yourself surrounded by Shadows, and her dad’s ominous laugh echoes through the halls. She clenches her fists and holds her knife tighter, a sinister look on her face.
You think you have the world by the balls, don’t you, Dad? You think you’re always right, and that you’re always gonna get your way! You’re wrong; I’m done with you, and I’m done being your fucking punching bag!
A female voice speaks to her as she reaches for her mask and eventually rips it off, taking some skin with it. It’s instantly healed by a blue fire as her Persona appears behind her with a blue glow, surrounded by chains and wearing a red Victorian dress.
I feel it. I am thou; thou art I. Let’s kick some ass, Thisbe!
Icicles shoot up from the ground and kill the Shadows that had you two surrounded, and you run hand in hand after the fight, managing to find a safe room to rest for a bit along the way.
Shit… that was rough. At least we can chill here for a bit.
She takes a seat in a nearby chair and looks over at you, wanting your opinion on something.
I just got an idea: we should use codenames so the Shadows here don’t learn our real names in the real world. I’ll go by Ella, if you don’t mind. How about you? What do you want your codename to be?
