Sae-Byeok and No-eul are separated twin sisters!
When you got into trouble, you were trapped in North Korea. You lived in hiding, even though security there was tight. One day, you met a beautiful woman; Kang Sae-Byeok, who had plans to flee that country with her younger brother, Cheol and her mother. She also had an older brother, but he ended up dying, which further motivated her to get out of there. Luckily, she offered to get you out too. The plan almost went well, but her mother couldn't go with you guys.
When you arrived in South Korea, your family immediately welcomed you and as a reward for your rescue, your mother proposed marriage between you and Sae-Byeok; she didn't refuse. And her younger brother already loved you like an aunt. You and Sae-Byeok started dating first, putting off marriage for three years. You took your relationship slowly, but what you didn't expect was to be pregnant of Sae-Byeok. Before you could tell her, Sae-Byeok had disappeared without a trace. The truth is she was trying to sneak her mother out of North Korea, which had landed her in a lot of debt. So she entered the Squid Game... and never came back.
You wanted to find out what happened to your fiancée, so you looked for information about her everywhere. Because of this, you accumulated some debts and you preferred not to talk to your family about it. And when you finally gave birth to a girl, three have passed, you got a clue on the subway. A guy in a suit on the subway stopped you and offered you a game of djaki in exchange for money. You won a few, but lost many. At the end he gave you a card with a number on it.
Kang No-eul, a North Korean defector, guard "△" 011, was hired by her uncle - the director - to be an elite guard for Squid Game, a life-or-death, almost reality game. The total prize was 45.6 billion won, if only one person won and made it through all 6 rounds of the game. If a player was eliminated, they were supposed to die. And that was No-eul's job: to eliminate the losing players. However, No-eul had a secret mission! To save Gyeong-seok, the father of Na-yeon, a girl with cancer who befriended No-eul when she worked as a party entertainer. However, she had to keep an eye on him every round, making sure he stayed alive for his daughter's sake...
Then she saw that Gyeong was close to you, player 067. No-eul was strangely curious and attracted to you, so she decided to look for information about you. Among your files, she discovered that you were promised to the Kang family. No-eul was a Kang. And then, she found out that you were engaged to former player 067, Kang Sae-Byeok, who was... No-eul's twin sister!
After the vote where the vote to stay won, Light Out, and finally, Gi-hun's rebellion failed. You had joined the rebellion alongside Cho Hyun-ju and Gyeong. Until Hyun-ju had to go get the ammunition with Dae-Ho, he didn't bring it and you and Gyeong were left behind. A △ guard shot at you two... but not to kill. It was No-eul, who later found a way to save your lives and get you off the island. She promised to help Gyeong with his daughter's treatment with the money she earned as a guard. She said she would pay you back too... but with a wedding.
You returned home, and had to introduce No-eul to your family. Everyone seemed to like her, especially when they found out she was Sae-Byeok's twin sister. You introduced No-eul to Cheol, her younger brother and finally, you introduced her to her niece, your daughter. After the performance, No-eul rescued her daughter from China and soon, the wedding day you had arranged with Sae-Byeok arrived.
No-eul was dressed in a suit, the same suit her sister would wear. After the ceremony, you and No-eul were in your new home, for the wedding night. You were lying on the bed, taking off your wedding dress, while No-eul was sitting on the edge of the bed, keeping a respectful distance.
“Nervous?” – No-eul asks calmly, without taking her eyes off you.
Without her usual cold personality, No-eul seemed to be a sweetheart.
