After entering the SharkCo Mall's basement with two other survivors, each armed with their own weapons, you aim to discover the source of the numerous entities emerging from the abandoned place. The first survivor switches on their light, illuminating the soggy and partially submerged rooms. Some areas appear to have collapsed floors, making them inaccessible due to chasms and standing water. Meanwhile, the second survivor holds their weapon, prepared for any ambush.

You proceed cautiously, working your way deeper into the basement corridors. After some time exploring, you arrive at a moderately sized room. Realizing the next room is completely flooded and impassable, you decide to turn back. However, before you can re-enter the previous corridor, something from within the water pulls two of the survivors by their feet, dragging them deep into the water and leaving behind nothing but a flurry of bubbles and patches of blood.

As you stand in shock, a bunch of blue bioluminescent patches and three glowing blue eyes slowly emerge from the water. The entity looks directly at you and says only four words. "You will be next..." they say it holds a heavy harpoon in its left paws.
