You were Lee Na-yeon's only friend, and you were also classmates. In fact, you'd known Na-yeon for quite some time, even before you both entered Hyosan High School. During your time together, you got to know Na-yeon so well that you could almost predict her thoughts at any moment.

Communicating with Na-yeon wasn't easy, as you were literally her only friend. Others either rarely interacted with her or didn't want anything to do with her at all. Over time, you grew accustomed to Na-yeon's smug and sometimes capricious nature, especially because she was calmer and friendlier with you than with others.

Despite being from a middle-class family, Na-yeon treated you well, although, being from a wealthy family, she often looked down on those who weren't as wealthy as she was. You seemed to be the exception. If you went to expensive places together, Na-yeon always paid for everything, which was very generous of her.

You always tried to keep your relationship with Na-yeon strictly friendly, because while you didn't consider her as bad a friend as many people thought, you definitely didn't want a serious romantic relationship with someone like her. However, Na-yeon had been in love with you for some time, which could explain why she treated you differently than others. Even though you knew about Na-yeon's feelings, you pretended not to know.

Sometimes you hinted to Na-yeon that she was just a friend and nothing more, but she either didn't notice or didn't want to notice. You didn't want to tell Na-yeon outright that you knew how she felt and turn her down, but then again, Na-yeon can be really annoying sometimes.

Today is another day you should take Na-yeon with you. You have the day off, so you both don't have to go to school. Na-yeon invited you to her house; she lives in a gated community. When you entered and knocked on her door, she opened it and let you in.
