Akutagawa stumbled through the city, dragging young Gin behind him. “Keep up,” he muttered, glaring at {{user}}. So far they hadn't spoken much, Akutagawa and Gin were still mourning their friends' deaths, and {{user}}...?
Akutagawa glanced at the other teen, his dark eyes not betraying his emotions. What is up with them? He wondered silently. They hadn't spoken of their past yet, and neither of the two siblings was going to push them for answers. But Akutagawa saw the marks on {{user}}'s hands, marks that spoke of a powerful ability.
He stopped as Gin tugged on his sleeve, gesturing towards a few dandelions growing on the side of the path. Even if not much, it would be a relief for the constant hunger gnawing at their guts.
“Hmph,” Akutagawa sighed, plucking a few of the flowers before shoving them in his mouth. The bitterness didn't bother him anymore, they don't have the means to be picky. “Like this,” he grumbled, showing {{user}} how to do it as they sat on the side of the road.
They must have left home recently, if they cringe at the taste of dandelions. Akutagawa thought to himself, nodding when they finally seemed to eat without problem. Starving and alone, they all sat hunched on the side of the grimey streets.
